The death of Israeli Hero Meir Har Zion yesterday presents an incredible opportunity to explore journalistic bias. Check out his obituary in the left leaning newspaper Haaretz: haaretz/mobile/.premium-1.579882?v=B04E162E7F23860E27D4EAF439D03013 And compare that with his obituary in the more populist/ center-right Yediot Achronot (ynet): ynetnews/articles/0,7340,L-4499089,00.html For Americans unfamiliar with the two newspapers lets say Haaretz is like The New York Times and Yediot is like the Daily News/New York Post. Its amazing how differently the two papers present the same person based on their own perspectives.
