The death of Mr. Kuldeep Pawar marks end of a very illustrious Marathi theater,Television and film personality . Mr. Pawar first acted in drama. Then he made his foray in films also.During his youth with handsomeness and acting talent, he was in lead roles of a hero for many dramas and films. Then with passage of time he started playing character roles. He effortlessly portrayed many immemorable roles - character, villain and comic – both in drama as well as in films. He never immitated anybody but developed his own unique style. Though originally from drama background, his acting in films and in Television serials did not have the element of over-acting which many drama personalities suffer from. While playing comic roles, he had developed a unique style of dialogue delivery by lengthening short pauses during uttering a sentence, which added a special hilarious touch without sounding artificiality. He was a thorough professional , thus, just concentrated on the assignments that he had on his hand and gave everything for portrayal of roles to perfection. Though popular, he was a thorough gentleman and thus never had to resort to cheap self-trumpeting, currying media favour, trying to hog lime-light and thus always kept a low profile. He never was involed in any controvercies, off stage wordly duels and attempting domination. It is a loss of both a gentleman and a versatile actor. May his soul rest in peace.
