The decisive hour is coming for elephant and rhino survival. I read this article and nearly despair. If Vietnamese officials are conspiring with corrupt Chinese officials and their porous border is a highway of death for ivory and horn, what can be done?? If Tanzanian ministers along with game police are on the take, what can concerned people do? If the CITES treaty and the London wildlife conference and the White House anti-wildlife trafficking task force are only sources of strongly worded memoranda, what will be left? Stronger voices and actions are required.
