The deffinition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over - TopicsExpress

The deffinition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a differant result. This is how I view prayer. As nuts as I see religious behavior I see the same insanity in other areas. Thinking you will convert a hard core balls to the wall christian to atheism is quite frankly a joke, but I see some in an all out war with them. Their pages no longer even help carry any message about atheism, in fact their pages are just a war zone calling out people and other pages by names. This chaos and drama seems like wasted time to me and I see insane behavior. I see people that set themelf us as superstars and gathering groupies, backing everything they do even when it no longer has anything to do with presenting atheism for someone thats interested in finding out about it. For them its become a war, and atheism wont survive unless they are at the forefront attacking christians. Before I get called a sympathizer I will tell you I am a realist as well as an Atheist and like to carry a message of atheism to those that will listen. For me to think I will ever convert the hard core thumpers is insane. Embroiling myself in page wars and just get obsessed with getting back at people is even more insane. Maybe its just my way looking at things, but to focus on going to war with the church and thumpers thinking it will help, what about someone that maybe is on the fence and is looking for a rational message and all I do is get them wrapped up in my personal war, I dont see where I am even saying anything about Atheism, and am offering them something to consider. When did atheism become an angry war? I just see it as a personal thing for some and they need to be the authority in it. I see ego differant than passion, and as quick as they are to call out others..maybe it wouldnt hurt to call them out on their focus, if they even have any in atheism anymore. It seems to be all about them.
