The definition of mercy is follows: compassion or forgiveness shown towards someone whom it is within ones power to punish or harm. I think we find happiness when we have mercy because of the good it creates in us. Because of the giving heart that is created from it. Because of the thankfulness we receive from others whom we show mercy towards. When we have it in our power to show harm and people know that...and we end up showing compassion...it changes someones life! Christ had the power to do so much yet showed mercy to us all and not only showed compassion but DIED for us! Thank you, Lord for your mercy and grace and the example you set for us all! 21 He who despises his neighbor sins; But he who has mercy on the poor, happy is he. Proverbs 14
