To meet this increased demand, some unscrupulous businessmen have set up illegal factories to produce yogurt. The independent TV investigation team found such a factory in a slum area at Mirpur in the capital. The environment in the factory is filthy and the factory does not follow the proper procedures to produce yogurt. But it not only produces yogurts, it does so using the names of some prominent brands. A number of such factories are reportedly operating across the capital city. Mobile courts on different occasions in the past conducted raids and sealed off such factories. But the owners got into the same unscrupulous business as soon as they secured bail.
