The detailed logistics involved in needing to make responsibly done advance placement and transport arrangement of animals essentially makes buying directly from the auction to be prohibitive, particularly for larger animals. This has been explained in detail to Wagner Farm repeatedly. As their continuing dismissive response is to just go to the slaughter auction - or that the animals can be taken to a meat market as a placement site as weve also been crassly told - this is also being equated by an increasing amount of the public as their calling for hoop jumping in a seeming intent to impede animal rescue and humane placement as this obviously does not support Wagner Farm goals. Once animals owned privately are brought to property that is taxpayer purchased and funded, such as Wagner Farm is, they immediately become the business of the public.
