The difference between Fox News and MSNBC in a nutshell: Today on Fox, while covering Darrell Issas (umpteenth, partisan-witch-hunt, oft-discredited) NSA hearing, Fox cut away from the ranking Democratic member when he finally took the floor. Meanwhile, over on MSNBC, Andrea Mitchell (not a huge fan of her halting delivery, but shes the real thing) was having a thoughtful and thorough discussion with the (execrable--cant stand his middle-of-the-road blandness) David Gregory about the latest so-called smoking gun email on Benghazi. At least on MSNBC, there is a sincere attempt to get to the truth of a story, even when it may not redound to the benefit of the Democratic side. On Fox, there is obfuscation, lies, news blackouts, and deceptive chart-making designed to confuse the viewer into thinking that, for example, ACA sign-ups going from 6 to 8 million is actually a decline in enrollment. They are both partisan, yes; but they are not the equivalent of one another in journalistic integrity. In that only one of them has journalistic integrity.
