The difference between a conservative/libertarian and an ideologue - TopicsExpress

The difference between a conservative/libertarian and an ideologue is very vast. The conservative/libertarian lives life and learns what works and what does not, based on experience. The ideologue bases his or her philosophy on theory that has never been proven or tested. Case in point, Karl Marx based what he believed not on history, but on his belief system based on what should be and not what was real. The same with Woodrow Wilson, Franklin D. Roosevelt, V.I. Lenin, Gloria Steinum, Betty Friedan, Julian Bond, Bill DeBlasio, Lyndon Johnson, George Soros, Eric Holder and Barack Obama, Benito Mussolini, Margret Sanger and, yes, Adolph Hitler. For them, reality has to be ignored and changed to fit their belief system, and what instrument can do that successfully in their view? Government. The problem is that once they use government to create their version of Utopia, they often bring hell on earth and invite nothing more than human misery. That is the truth.
