The difference between being fake and being civil is that being civil means you wont act like the persons best friend, but you wont cause unnecessary drama, or unnecessary conversation. Being fake is acting like their best friend, taking pictures together and having enthusiastic conversation, then turning around and talking shit about that person. Being fake and being civil are two different things.
