The disaster that almost did not happen. In the 2000 election Gore won more popular votes than Bush and should have been president to continue on with the progress and good economic state of the United States but along came the ugly head of the constitutional device that can be used to throw elections, the electoral college. And guess what with a little help from Jeb Bush the governor of Florida and Kathleen Harris a treasonous act was committed that would cost the US dearly. Still costing us today and will for decades. Finally the GOP Supreme Court gave the election to Bush and we have suffered every day since then for it! Incredible what a perfect storm was created by and for the GOP. And America has suffered, wow she has suffered for this treasonous mess! It was a disaster that almost did not happen but it did and we need to never let it happen again, ever!
