The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is - TopicsExpress

The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.( Luke 6:40). Jesus never took sin likely as He was 100% against sin and its appearances likewise His disciples the first Apostles. In Acts 1:3 the Bible said that Jesus shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. All His messages were about things pertaining to the Kingdom of God. He preached about heaven and eternal life. Likewise the Apostles they preached the Kingdom of God wherever they went. They preached Jesus Christ. Christ was the Theme of their sermon and Paul said in 1 Corinthians 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also [am] of Christ. Paul urged us to follow in this pattern of ministry. They separated themselves from the world just as their Master did. The person you call your spiritual father or Pastor if he is not serious with heaven and eternal life you will never be serious about it. If he does not hate sin and preach against sin and tells you what is sinful you will never hate sin and preach against it. If your pastor gathers people and entertain them with prosperity messages, how they can maximize their coast, inherit their inheritance and possess their possessions but never take time to preach about heaven and hell, sin and holiness; I tell you none of the members will take heaven serious nor sin serious. The way you respond to issues is the way people under you will respond to the same issues. The genuine ministry is all about the Cross and nothing more. For this purpose Christ came. John 12:27. For what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and lost his soul? If your church is not preaching repentance, holiness, sanctification, heaven and eternal life run for your life.
