The disciples did not have the dignity of publicly mourning their Leader. They feared for their own lives after witnessing such a barbaric scene. Instead, they were left to contemplate with the delusion of a sudden shift in power. There were a plethora of emotions all through the spirited clan of ideas stemming from what they should do next. Thomas, a skeptic at best thought to himself .. is that all, is that it?. Lukes medical experience led him to believe that there was no humanly possible way anyone could be revived, much less return from the dead after such a diabolical execution. But Peter, who Jesus had bonafide faith in and nicknamed him this rock had an unction. Despite the fact that Peter wasnt good with probability and statistics in math like Matthew, he was still willing to bet it all that there was more to this story.
