The downside to being a Christian who invests their creative energy (re)searching for objections & offenses among other believers only to divide from them, is that: 1.They’ll likely find more than enough content to keep them busy for a life-time (remember Luther’s brilliant maxim : simul justus et peculator...just google it) 2.Much of their life is lived in a lonely self-imposed alienation just on the outside of the possibility of true community (their world is a shrunken one). 3.In the rare occasion they find like-minded individuals to form this community, one need not imagine to long what will be the outcome when any disagreement arises. A life-giving alternative is Ephesians 4:3,15...loving the church & building it up from w/in, like a living cell, apart of the Body, rather than like an injection of antibiotics from the outside.
