The downtown Boyne City ice pole will be returning to Sunset Park - TopicsExpress

The downtown Boyne City ice pole will be returning to Sunset Park behind the Chamber office. The pole is already there, lying on the ground, and will be put up very soon, possibly this week. But since we’re heading into a warm spell, the water (and ice) won’t be turned on until we get some below-freezing temps again. The pole has not been put up the last two winters in favor of the downtown ice skating rink, which was not used as much as city officials hoped it might be. These photos are from December 2009.
