The dr just came out while the resident is closing Brody up. She said everything went ok but she wasnt able to fully detether him because the scar tissue was too dense. She is hopeful that its enough for now. No sugar coating or skirting around the details, we are at the end of our options. If brody continues to develop more symptoms or his scoliosis progresses there is only one very tough treatment option that will change his life forever. He will be laying flat until Wednesday then well raise him very slowly. If he tolerates that she will clamp off the drain to see if his dura has sealed, and remove it if it all looks good.
