The draft law on the Denial of Crimes Committed during Period of Democratic Kampuchea will punish individual who refuse to acknowledge, diminish, deny, or challenge the existence of crime committed during Pol Pot regime. The public denial of crime can take form of a public announcement-written correspondence or painting, and audio-visual communication for the public and the punishment will range from 6 months to 2 years in jail with a fine from 1 million to 4 million Riel.
