The drama continues: Without much to note yesterday (except the promised microwave was not installed) we start today with the 2-man crew asking how things look. Um, well, you mean besides the screw sticking out all wonky and the numerous face frames that arent joined well and the drawer that is rubbing or the drawers with the easy-close that dont?...besides that it looks great. I didnt expect any answer but they said they would fix all that today. Then one of them asked me if he could keep the vertical blinds they took down because it has some ceiling overspray on them. I told him we just bought those last month. So then he asks if he could leave them down...to make them easier for you to clean. HELLZ NO, no thank you, I would prefer that you re-hang them. Like they were when you took them down. Ill clean them in place. The look on his face made me want to slap him. So then they tell me they probably wont get to the microwave today but they will try. Really!?! We are into day 3 with 2 guys and they dont think they will be done today. Luckily for them wholesale slaughter of installers is a criminal offense. But like my good friend Cathryn said to me, when its all done it will look great and I will have an amusing anecdote. :) If you want me I will be playing Words with Friends.
