The economy must be back to normal again. Ive tried THREE different vendors to retile a built-in fountain on my patio (ice and snow separated a lot of them from the walls and they all need to be replaced with pool tile and hydro-type grout). Responses to date: (1) We looked at your pictures and cant help you; (2) We dont do that kind of work (translated, the job is too small) and (3) the guy who DID tell me hed come and give me an estimate didnt show up - no phone call, nothing. Just didnt show up. Theres got to be SOMEONE out there who is experienced with pools and pool tiling who wants to make some money. I know its not a $5,000 job, but you wont do one for $500-$1,000? If anyone has any recommendations, Im willing to keep trying. Im trying to employ someone for a job and no one is interested in making money. Go figure.
