The effectual fervent prayer of a RIGHTEOUS man avails MUCH (James 5:16). God STILL answers prayer He still provides the answers to our queries, provides comfort, calm in the midst of the storm, strength to overcome, but He promises FAVOR to those who are sincere in their walk with Him. The word avail means to give advantage give favor. This favor is available to all those who CLAIM it by their actions to Him. Dont limit your prayers to the crisis only mode, or just you, family and friends, but extend it to daily social guidance, effective communication, your community, workplace, the needy, opportunities for those affected by the recession...etc. Take full advantage of this PROMISED favor. Yes, prayer CHANGES things.,,and He is inviting YOU to play your part on a WIDER basis so more will benefit from His love and mercies: availing much. The challenge is for you to play YOUR communal part with prayer: YOU may very well have the key to someones victory...PRAYER, would you? God bless
