The elections are OVER and we are picking up the reins to work to get our birth parent document rights bill passed in the legislative session which starts in January, 2015!! Woohoo! Connecticut currently allows birth parents copies of their probate court files. We are seeking to extend that right to include their adoption agency files and in particular ANY DOCUMENT THEY SIGNED including but not limited to relinquishment documents. Our goal is to VANQUISH THE MYTH that birth parents were promised lifelong secrecy. ARE YOU READY BE PART OF OUR SUCCESS??!!!
