The end of one journey is merely the beginning of another. Thus my project in Cyprus has come to a close, and I will not be renewing the term for a longer period. Despite high expectations, they were simply not in sync with the reality on the ground. And thats ok. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to experience bartending and drinking practices in a completely different and beautiful part of the world. I cannot believe that I met such amazing people, including friends that Im confident Ill be in touch with the rest of my life. What a fantastic experience, despite the obstacles. And so the next journey begins. Now that it is official, I can say with immense pride and excitement that in December I will be moving to Taiwan to join the homie Adam Robinson behind the stick at Ounce. I am incredibly fortunate to be teaming up with someone I so highly respect, and cant wait to see how hard the two of us are gonna kill it! Cyprus, lets make the next two weeks magical, cuz Im gonna miss the shit outta you! Boom!
