The end of the school year is often such a happy time for me as I send my 8th graders on to a new experience and adventure/milestone in their lives and anticipate the new 6th graders I will be getting. However this end of school year was different as I learned whose really a friend and whose team I am really a part of. Special education teachers already have two strikes but we try so hard to stay in the game and never give up. Even when we get the third strike, we never give up because we still have two more outs to go. Anyone who knows me know that I always put in the effort to be a team player. I must admit that my light was dimmed when I learned that when its convenient I am part of the team. But many fail to realize, I am NOT a convenience, I AM A COMMITTMENT! Nevertheless, I am going to continue to be me. Committed to my SPED team, my EW Wyatt students and my Ride or Die Chicks (you know who you are!)
