The endorsement of Pressler mentions the word integrity. He has used an edited version of the Abscam tape as a centerpiece of his campaign. However, as a Jack Anderson article as well as the full tape transcript shows, Pressler never used the word illegal and never stormed out of what was actually a friendly meeting. He also never contacted the Senate or FBI after the offer. He told both the NY Times as well as a letter sent to congressional investigators that he never reported the bribe offer because he did not consider it a bribe.
