The environmental scout organization celebrates the International Day of Peace On the occasion of International Day of Peace and under the title (Peace starts with us) The organization arranged a symbolic activity for its members in addition to some Syrian refugees children. All the participants of different ages put a large banner in the middle of the environment roundabout in Tripoli - Mina ( LEBANON ) bearing the words Peace begins with us after stamping it with their hands by different colors of life. There were also a number of activities that have added an atmosphere of joy among the participants. In conclusion, the participants planted an olive tree as a memorial sign for the occasion Moreover the lawyer Najib Singer the commissioner of environment and community development in the organization has assured that this activity is part of several activities of the international project of Messengers of Peace that intends to send a message of tolerance and love from children who do not have the guilt of war and terrorism, who are paying the price. All pedestrians and citizens liked the activity and asked about some details and they were happy to get photos with the scouts. They also showed willingness to work and contribute in such fruitful activities.
