The ever expanding problem of Pirate Book Sites. Be WARNED - if you send Pdf/Mobi files to review sites and you dont know who is really behind that site, you could see your book listed on a pirate site within weeks of your sending that file for review. Reviews sites are the easiest way of accumulating files for Piracy. The site owners appear kosher and give forth with great spiel, and the site owners recruit reviewers from amidst fans who equally fall prey to the machinations of the site owners (free acquisition and monetary gain) who sit back eagerly awaiting all those novels of whom authors and publishers are keen to get noticed...BTW: anyone can sign up to NetGalley and receive books for review, and this too is a source for book pirates. By sending gifted copies from Amazon direct to reviewers is a small price to pay in exchange for a review that goes live on RRM and a review thus posted to Amazon under the RRM banner. And so, to the sad demise RRM: or not! romancereviewsmagazine.blogspot.co.uk. Ive offered to take this site on, but I need help: genuine 100% backup reviewers and Ill link it to this Group and groups that I run and indeed fall within the *romance* genre! The site was originally set up in support of Indie small press & self-published works. I think that aspect must remain the sites priority, which pretty much covers most of the well-known small press e-book enterprises though quite a few of them think themselves better placed promoting to Stateside based review sites. We are UK based so who would like to jump aboard and help keep RRM up and running as it was in its heyday?
