The excesses of our kenyan government is going over the roof.We read stories of governers suffocating in millions of shilling in just allowances.This morning we wake up to screaming headlines of yet another scandal to be committed.The government planning to spend 2.5 BILLION SHILLINGS to celebrate the 50 years of self rule! All this is happening in a country where; 1.More than half the people survive on less than a dollar each day. 2.Teachers,Nurses,Doctors and other cevil servants strike frequently over miserable salaries. 3.The national budget running a deficit of almost ksh.200 million. 4.Additional tax burden on even basic commodities. 5.etc etc... You ask yourself whether its worth having a government.
