The excessive use of Sedition Act by Attorney Generals chamber to prosecute politicians or activists simply means the government has NO guts , capacity and ability to defend its stand, policies, principle and beliefs without fear of being undermined by simple seditions. Come on Government! Have faith on the judiciary. If someone really lie or said something thats untrue against your reputation, use the civil Defamation act / Akta Fitnah and proof that theyre wrong and lying, make them pay the hundreds of millions and bankrupt them (losing MP position!), or use the criminal Defamation clause in penal Code to proof that they were lying and put them behind bar after proving such case. Using sedition act means you are a cowardly tyrant. Sedition means saying or doing anything that will be perceived as threat to the government and this is perhaps one of the most tyrannical practice a democratic government can have. Please. Use defamation act and penal code (criminal defamation) and proof their lies. Not just using sedition! Because truth can be seditious too, and no one should be punished for stating the truth!
