The exotic deer at Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch are ambassadors for the The Humane Society of the United States - Wildlife Protection Campaign. Deer and other animals are often victims of Captive or Canned Hunts, where shooters pay a fee to hide in a blind strategically place near a feeder and shoot at animals trapped behind fences. Black Beauty Ranch has over 100 sika, fallow, and axis deer who roam 40 acres in peace. To learn more about captive hunts, click on the picture of our Jasmine grazing by the lake in her deer habitat.
