The extreme cold will continue to affect much of the Northern Plains Region through Wednesday night. An arctic air mass will allow low temperatures tonight to drop into the 10 below to 15 below zero range, with wind chill values mainly in the 25 below to 35 below zero category near sunrise Wednesday morning. Highs during the day are only expected to recover into the 5 below to 5 above zero range, followed by another chilly evening, and then slowly rising readings late Wednesday night.
