The eye surgeon asked me a lot of questions about getting hit in the head. The answer to this is question is that I was assaulted twice. Both times my left eye took a lot of damage. I got a total of 23 stitches around that eye between the two assaults. 8 below the eye and 15 above it. The first was on July 25, 1970 while I was in the army and the second was 33 years later on July 25, 2003. This may complicate my surgery. The absolute worse case scenario is that I will be permanently blind in my left eye. I should be out of surgery by 10:30 tomorrow morning and Ill let everyone know if I can still see out of my left eye.
