The fact of the matter is that Fracking will not lower the price of Gasoline at the pumps. People have to understand that we have already gotten most of the easy to get oil out of the ground. Going after the Tar Sands and Fracking should tell people that we are scraping the bottom of the barrel as far as carbon based fuel goes...We need to invest in Solar and Wind and Tidal generated Electric Power. Cellulosic Ethanol and Algae based ethanol can help. It makes no sense to burn our food or poison our water supplies for our energy needs. Fracking used huge amounts of water and poisons it in the process. We need to conserve what we have and learn how to use less. Three Mile Island, Chernobyl and the Fukushima Nuclear accidents has proven to us that nuclear is too dangerous. Manufacturing, farming and consuming locally will help. Use less and dont waste. Higher Gasoline Prices will help to effect this change.
