The fact that Barack Obama did not attend the memorial services in Paris is yet another reason that we have so few allies left in the world. What this really shows the world is that when we say that Obama is a narcissist, we are not just being critical, partisan, or racist. Here is a perfect example of his narcissism. He is the most powerful man in the world yet sees this event as beneath him and not worth his time. How does that look to the European allies? Oh yea, and dont tell me the threat was just too great for him to travel. That is an even worse excuse. We are the most powerful nation on earth. We cannot be frightened by these Islamic punks who want to strike fear in the hearts of this nation. When the allies around the world look at our presidents unwillingness to stand with them in tough times like this, they lose whatever remaining respect they had for US leadership. It may just be that Mr Obama did not want to face the allies who were not going to buy his BS rhetoric about how these terrorist really do not represent Islam. Many Americans are still buying that crap from this president but I doubt that the French or any of the Europeans would right now. So it appears to me that BHO avoided the events in Paris in part because he did not want to face the music associated with his continual line of Bovine Excrement, which no one believes any more.
