The fact that this is the first instance of icing of the year, means that the chance of a delay is lingering, even though these same conditions would warrant no delay later in the season. Light icing will occur everywhere in the state before most commutes, however those traveling by 5 am should be careful on the roads, and on their driveways. Temperatures might be in the upper 20s, as Owen indicated in the below post, and wind chill values will also contribute to a slickness. My stance against these dangers, though, is that frequently travelled roads warm up quickly, thus diminishing the ice threat.
