It sounds like a common sense position doesnt it? Do think a Republican said this? Sadly, no. These words were said by Senator Barack Obama in 2006. My how things have changed. Under President Bush, the debt increased by nearly 5 trillion in 8 years which is a ridiculous amount of money. Under President Obama, we are already an additional 6 trillion in the hole and have a few more years of no budget spending and cave-in Republicans letting the left get away with even more reckless spending.
