The fact that you are spiritual or that God speaks to you does not mean that all your thoughts,perceptions or assumptions are correct. Also, one thing is to have the mind of Christ another thing is to utilize it. No matter how strong my hand is, it would only work for me when i use it. You cant be always right about people and things because of your spirituality. Dont forget that not many that are wise were called. So, you are also prone to error. Way out? Depend on the Holy spirit, dont be petty in your thinking, avoid pampering your flesh , be open to correction and accept that you can be wrong. We would constantly implicate innocent people,miss out on Gods blessing or opportunities if we dont address this issue in our lives because we all have this tendency. Let us make life less complicated for ourselves and others.
