The fallout with Donald Sterling just underlines the view of blacks in society as a whole... Were just commodities, we are just a way for others to profit. Unfortunately, as long as we get a piece of that profit, no matter how small, well gladly go along. Whether it be participating in ratchet reality shows that portray the stereotype that no matter how much money we have, we wont have class, playing sports and reinforcing the belief that our physicality is still our prevailing attribute, or padding the numbers of the prison system and their private owners, were still just seen as profit centers.
