The false prophets and false teachers equate wealth with spirituality..... they do it almost every time. That is one of the hallmarks of a false (prosperity) preacher. Their conversation always comes back around to MONEY and the accumulation of wealth (Mammon). Also, the false teachers love to talk about their DREAMS and GOALS (It is my DREAM or my GOAL for this year, etc.) rather than being led by the Holy Spirit. They almost never mention the cross, or the need to DIE to ones own plans and schemes and allowing the LIFE of Jesus (thru the cross) to become OUR life. The false teachers seldom, if ever, talk about hell, or sin, or judgment, or the need of repentance and the need to die daily to ones old nature. Their conversation always comes back around to WHAT CAN GOD DO FOR ME?
