The farcical Islamic Republic of Iran is about as far from the Islamic system of governance as a communist state. The system of Wilayatul Faqih concocted by Khomeini while in exile designates a deputy head of state who serves as the countrys supreme leader until the arrival of the 12th Imam. In fact, according to the Iranian Constitution, the countrys official leader is none other than the fictional, cellar-dwelling saviour, the 12th Imam himself, with the so-called supreme leader simply keeping his seat warm until his emergence from his underground cave. This is the same constitution that guarantees freedom of religion to Muslims (Sunnis) of all four madhaahib but in practice routinely executes them for defending Islam against Shiite heresies and proclaiming their faith openly, levelling the ambiguous and undefined charge of Wahhabism upon them leading to imprisonment and execution. The same constitution that grants them equality yet forbids a single Sunni mosque in the capital city of Tehran and actively closes any places they wish to hold Friday and Eid prayers. Reverence for fairytales and superstition but not so for real human beings. The attached picture shows their reverence for the dead, whether in theology through their love of polytheistic practices or in politics with a fictional supreme leader and currently ruling MPs who unfortunately also happen to be dead (the other three in the picture including former president Rafsanjani dont seem to be far from deceased either). As for you miskeen, uninformed political activists who still think Iran is the best thing in the Muslim world, you people have absolutely no idea of its inner workings, its numerous scandals nor the utter state of spiritual and worldly ruin this mullah run government has inflicted on the country since their bloody takeover.
