The federal government has no reason to control schools other than to shape political views and those are never stable over a long term. So education in the propagandizing of children is stupid and self destructive of a nation that dares to degrade their education in such a fashion. Class time is precious and a child has little attention for matters that are irrelevant to life. Children can focus for long times on areas of importance , interest and value as the child sees it. When math, language, music, arts, physical education and other more relevant classes are cut to make room for political opinion shaped as language, math, history, arts and classic studies we have a failed education system. Maybe it takes a high school dropout to see this truth.
