The fellows at the soaring club have been pestering me about taking lessons. I told Kerry tonight that this is the first time in a long time that I have actually been tempted to commit to something. The notion of being able to take others up there one day to experience pure flight is very alluring to me. Using convective energy in the atmosphere and thermal lift to create your art is like nothing I have ever experienced before. The beauty of using only gravity as your engine to gain speed is the fact that engines fail, but gravity does not.
