The feral hog population of the United States numbers in the millions. Nobody knows how many there are. One source says there are 5 million in the USA, another that there are more. They do incredible damage and all caused by people who werent thinking. A business man brought in wild hogs from out of the country for men to hunt and they escaped into the wild. Having no natural predators here they multiplied rapidly, destroying crops ,farmland and local wildlife. Some get upwards of 750 pounds. The meat is good and hunters in this case are needed badly. If you want to save some money on the grocery bill there is one big answer. Map of the spread. Doing massive damage to the environment and in some places you even get a reward for hunting them.
