The fifth reason we dont need the Keystone XL pipeline is that each person in the U.S. will need *less* energy in the future, not more, and with the same comforts, conveniences, and services as always -- light, heat, transportation, etc. The efficiency revolution is happening under our very noses everyday. Ford is switching to lighter aluminum trucks. Light bulbs use 80% less electricity. New computers have slashed another third energy use over last years model. And legal efficiency standards spur that innovation. Support national efficiency standards and reject more and more fossil fuels -- especially ones that produce more greenhouse gasses than usual, like tar sands oil.
