The fight for a $15/hr minimum wage is being, uh, *waged* in a number of cities and states across the country. (Id like to see it set higher and apply to all workers around the world involved in making the products we buy, but one step at a time.) You dont have to be a socialist to support this struggle—even establishment economists like Robert Reich and Paul Krugman are behind significant increases.
