The fight for the liberation of the Gambia from the bloodthirsty regime of Yahya Jammeh is so great a cause to be derailed by cynicisms. We must forge ahead, for our cause is just and our commitment unshakable. Just as Jammeh is just an obstacle to the ultimate goal of achieving strong democratic institutions, so are the cynicisms just obstacles to dislodging Jammeh. This is not a popularity contests nor is it an easy fight.
