The final day of the Incheon Asian Game competitions and also a wonderful day for the Cambodian people, who have been waiting since 1970 for this day to come. The 19-year-old Cambodian Taekwondo and SEA Games medalist in Myanmar last year, Sorn Seavmey, brought the glory of victory and honor for her whole nation after defeating Fatemeh Rouhani of Iran in the finals. She finished the competition with a score of of 7-4 in the women’s -73kg event at the Ganghwa Dolmens Gymnasium in Incheon, South Korea. Before entering into the finals, she had defeated Alora Kirstie Elaine of the Philippines 6-5 in the semifinal.
