The final stage of the Desafio Guarani Rally in Paraguay was cancelled with the organization in agreement with riders, deciding it was not safe for the bikes to race Stage 4 of the Rally under the extreme weather conditions in the region. This meant that Francisco “Chaleco” López (KTM 450 Rally Replica) won the bikes category, followed by Pablo Quintanilla (KTM 450 Rally Replica) and David Casteu (KTM) of the South American Dakar Challenge event.
