The final stages of Magics tough day in the herd. Hes new and still learning how he fits in. Today, when he wouldnt allow me to touch him while he was hanging with his new best friend, Ruby, he had to learn Im the head of this herd. The day a horse must transition from seeing humans as predators to seeing humans as other horses in the herd is a long one. Its a drastic change in their way of thinking that gives way to the ability for a successful partnership with a variety of people in the future. A good thing, because lots of people come here and must go into the pasture where he lives!
