The final weight for the Adopt-a-River cleanup came in today! It was 4,825 pounds, including 63 tires collected over the past year by one of our adopters who had been working the same general area of the river. Of the 4,825 pounds, the artist removed 500 pounds for her sculpture. This was the first year when plastic recycling was part the effort. The total of all recycled materials was 440 pounds.
