The finer point of what Im saying is this: whenever things like this happen, we end up getting distracted away from the more complicated and important point!! We gravitate our attention and energy toward the looters idiots setting fires and breaking windows and spend more time asking questions about that behavior then we do about the incident that sparked all of this! So, what happens is that the conversation we keep talking about having in America about race gets muddied up and avoided altogether because so many of us are talking about broken glass rather than broken lives and hearts! We see the loss of monetary items from businesses and forget about the loss of a life in the middle of the street laying there for hours while a mother cries 10 feet away! We always focus on the wrong thing!! Yes there are idiots and outside agitators doing dumb shit that most assholes do and they are indeed helping to infect and water down the integrity of the cause or message. That is their intent by the way!!!And yes the media is hyping that element of the whole conversation!! That is their intent also by the way!!!!....MY QUESTION IS: WHY ARE HELPING THEM DO THAT????
